Jim Almas of Jackson is medical director of the Clinical Lab and Pathology Department at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Fred Banks of Jackson, Chairman-Elect of the Foundation Board, is an attorney at the law firm of Phelps Dunbar. He retired in 2001 as presiding justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court. He also serves on the boards of the Mississippi Center for Justice, Mississippi Equal Justice Foundation and St. Andrew's.
Rosemary Barbour of Jackson is president and owner of Alcatec, LLC.
Alveno Castilla of Jackson is an attorney with Watkins, Ludlam, Winter & Stennis, P. A.
Noel Daniels of Brandon is vice president of Gray-Daniels Auto Family.
Suman Das of Madison is a plastic surgeon with Das Plastic Surgery Center.
J. Kane Ditto of Jackson is involved with many nonprofit organizations in the metropolitan area including the Mississippi Center for Nonprofits and the Children’s Museum. He is the former mayor of Jackson.
Rick Fountain of Jackson is an attorney with The Law Offices of Rick Fountain. He also serves on the Boards of Directors for New Stage Theatre, American Red Cross, Arts Council of Mississippi and Make-A-Wish of Mississippi, among others.
Sonny Fountain of Utica is the founder of Fountain Construction Company and has served on the boards of many local nonprofits including the Boy Scouts and the Salvation Army and as Chairman of the Board of Hinds Community College.
Lora Griffin, of Madison, is a long time community volunteer. Lora and husband Charles have a scholarship fund with the foundation in memory of their son, Charles, Jr.
Monica Harrigill of Madison is vice president of Jackie’s International, Bumpers Drive-In and Western Sizzlin. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of Millsaps College and the Hindu Temple of Mississippi and chaired the Junior League’s West Park Coalition.
Jane Hiatt of Jackson is a community volunteer. A past chair of the Foundation's Board, she formerly served as executive director of the Mississippi Arts Commission and the Tennessee Humanities Council as well as interim director of the Mississippi Museum of Art. Today, she is a trustee on the boards of the Mississippi Museum of Art and Friends of University Press in addition to serving on advisory boards for the Mississippi Center for Nonprofits and Junior League of Jackson.
Janet Hickson of Jackson volunteers for many organizations in the community.
David Hoster of Madison is president and CEO of EastGroup Properties. He volunteers as head of annual giving in Mississippi for Princeton University and serves as chair of the Foundation's Investment Committee.
Earle Jones of Jackson, co-chairman of Board of MMI Hotel Group, headed the Foundation’s HELP Campaign, which raised $3.6 million in endowed funds. He has a long history of service to the community and currently is a member of the boards of Millsaps College and Jackson 2000.
Susan Shands Jones of Jackson is a staff attorney at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She also serves on the board for the Friends of Children's Hospital and Acquisition Committee of the Mississippi Museum of Art.
Ellen Leake of Jackson is president of Traverse Technologies, Inc., former chairman of the board at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and board member for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Con Maloney of Jackson, Chairman of the Foundation Board, is chairman of the board of Cowboy Maloney's Electric City. A former member of the Mississippi Senate, he also serves on the board of Millsaps College.
Don Q. Mitchell of Jackson recently retired as a physician with the Mississippi Asthma and Allergy Clinic in Jackson, where he had worked since 1975. Previously, he served as a doctor in active duty with the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1975. Over the years, he has been active in numerous charitable organizations.
Billy Neville of Jackson is owner of the clothing stores The Rogue & Good Company.
Denise Owens of Terry, Foundation Board Secretary, is a Chancery judge for Mississippi's Fifth Judicial District. She is a former board member of Catholic Charities and coaches annual high school mock trial teams.
Carlton Reeves of Terry is an attorney at Pigott Reeves Johnson and Minor, P.A, and a graduate of Jackson State University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
Vonda Reeves-Darby of Jackson is a gastroenterologist at Gastrointestinal Associates.
Asoka Srinivasan of Jackson is a professor and director of the Jackson Heart Study Undergraduate Training Center at Tougaloo College. He is also on the boards of Common Cause of Mississippi and the ACLU of Mississippi.
Sylvia Stewart of Jackson is Treasurer/CFO of Peoples Insurance Companies and is also a licensed veternarian. She has served on the boards for Scott Ford House, the Central Mississippi Chapter National Coalition of 100 Black Women and the National Coalition of Pastors' Spouses.
Kimberly Noel Sweet of Brandon is a former reporter, anchor and managing editor for WLBT News. Currently, she volunteers with The Links and the Junior League of Jackson.
Stella Gray Bryant Sykes of Jackson is an historic preservationist and Editor-at-Large of South magazine. She formerly served as executive director of the Mississippi Heritage Trust, chair of the Friends Of Laurel Street Park and board member for The Boyd Home/The Oaks.
Gwendolyn Taylor of Madison owner and sole proprietor of Gwen Taylor, Realtor. She has worked as a computer systems analyst, a math and computer teacher at Jackson State University and Tougaloo College, and now works in computer software development.
Frankie Thomas, a native of Crystal Springs, is general sales manager for WLBT-TV. Frankie and husband Matthew have a designated fund that benefits JSU Dept. of Mass Communication and Alcorn School of Business.
Jon Turner is president and CEO of Smith Turner & Reeves.
Paul Varner of Jackson, Treasurer of the Foundation, is an attorney at Butler Snow O’Mara Stevens & Cannada where he works in the estate planning field. He serves on the boards of the Andrew Jackson Council Boy Scouts of America and YMCA Heritage Club.
J. Kelley Williams of Jackson is a community volunteer, private investor and entrepreneur. He was CEO of First Mississippi Corporation/Chemfirst Inc. for 32 years, resigning in November 2002 following the company's merger with DuPont. He has served numerous nonprofit organizations over the years.
Rita Wray, a native of Alabama, of Brandon serves as deputy executive director for the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration.
